OER Learning Circles

SPRING 2022 OER Learning Circle (February 7th - April 24th)

This high-quality faculty development opportunity is being offered through the College as part of Minnesota State's Educational Innovations. The MWLC is designed to provide time and support for faculty to revise courses and create OER  materials. The goal of the MWLC is to increase access to materials and lower costs for students.

Participants in the Spring 2022 MWLC participate you will be required to:

  1. Attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled Learning Circle Zoom meetings.
  2. Complete assigned activities in the D2L Brightspace course room.
  3. Plan to spend approximately four (4) hours per week on this project.
  4. Agree that all original materials will be made available through a Creative Commons license; this CC license will not include an ND (no derivatives) condition.
  5. Write a reflective summary of the process (a “Pay it Forward” guide).
  6. A stipend of .5 Credit hour will be offered through the Z-Degree Grant for successful completion of the Learning Circle.
